Kavanagh Forensics, an investigative engineering company, needed a reimagining of their corporate identity as their current logo had become dated and no longer reflected their business.
As the go-to providers of technical advice for insurance claims and legal cases involving buildings and structures, the new identity needed to have a visual strength in a contemporary manner that resonated with both clients and industry professionals.
- Identity
- Tone of Voice
- Corporate Literature
Our solution was to create an identity that was clean, modern and impactful.
Our strategy was based on the keywords of strength and focus.
The KF lettering joined together in a block coupled with bold typography infers strength.
The framed crop marks drew inspiration from the view of looking thru a lens reflecting the analytical nature of their work whilst evoking a technical tone of voice.
One of the main issues of the previous identity was it’s lack of clarity and presence on small format applications. It also underperformed in an ever increasing digital world.
The solution resolved these issues with a strong footprint across various communication channels whilst translating effortlessly across reports, stationery and literature.
The identity was developed with ‘real world’ applications at the forefront of our creative thinking. The design needed to achieve a consistency across all touch-points plus printing in different processes on various substrates.
"Pixel Ink did a great job on our recent brand refresh. This was their second project with us. We thought we knew exactly what we wanted from this project; they gave us that, but they also really understood the detail behind our brand, so the final product was much better than what we were expecting. We're looking forward to working with the Pixel Ink team again soon."
